On Monday 31st October KENDRA launched its drive to recruit new members. Leaflets asking residents the question, ‘Do you care about Kenley?’ will be sent to nearly 4,000 households in the Kenley area. The leaflet spells out KENDRA’s commitment to caring for Kenley, and hopes new and lapsed members will take advantage of the £5 membership per household, which will last from now until the end of next year.
It is now possible to pay the membership fee directly by Standing Order or by bank transfer. Traditional ways to pay; by cheque or cash to a road steward, or a cheque by post, are unchanged. For full details go to our Join Us page.
KENDRA wants to recruit as many residents as possible, so that it speaks for the majority of Kenley. Members can be as passive or as active as they choose, but there are plenty of ways to help, from litter picking to serving on the committee.
Members, old or new, should contact our Chair, Christine Heal, if they are interested in joining our committee, or send an email to litter@kenleyra.org.uk for details about future litter picks.
