On Sunday 13th November, warm sunshine greeted the dignitaries, clergy, local air cadets, police and members of the public, who gathered to pay their respects to those who gave their lives in service to their country.
Wreathes were laid at the RAF Kenley Tribute, by Chris Philp MP, Councillors Gayle Gander and Ola Kolade, KENDRA Chair Christine Heal and Mike Street, Chairman of the RAF Kenley Tribute Committee, as well as many representatives from the police, local churches and services cadet corps.
More than 350 attended the ceremony, which was led by the Chairman of Tandridge Council, and included representatives from the City of London Corporation, 615 Volunteer Gliding Squadron, 450 Squadron Air Cadets, Kenley Memorial Hall and the Greater London Authority.
